The Sociedad de Biof\u00edsica de Espa\u00f1a is pleased to announce the
\n„International Congress of the Spanish Biophysical Society \u2013 SBE
\nBarcelona 2012” that will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from July 3rd
\nto 6th, 2012 (see www.sbe-bcn2012.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n

This XII SBE Congress has been conceived as a meeting point for the
\nSpanish biophysics community and its peers from Europe and beyond,
\nstimulating new interactions and providing a first-class forum for the
\nyoungest researchers. The international vocation of the congress
\ntranslates into a scientific program that brings together key players in
\neach of ten broad areas, organized in the following symposia, each
\nincluding three invited speakers and four communications to be selected
\nfrom submitted abstracts:<\/p>\n

\nSymposium III. Biophysics of nucleic acids
\nSymposium IV. Bioenergetics, enzyme catalysis

\nSymposium VIII. Membrane biophysics II: receptors, channels, transporters
