Dear colleagues,
I would like to ask you, if you could forward (or post on web) the announcement for the 11th International School of Biophysics, organized by the Rudjer Boskovic Institute (RBI) and the Croatian Biophysical Society (CBS).
One of the goals of the Organizing Committee is to attract as diverse as possible studentship, thus we attempt to directly contact the leaders of national societies.
The School bears the name of the eminent Croatian biophysicist, the late Prof. Greta Pifat-Mrzljak, who, for more than 30 years chaired and organized the School. For this effort she received the American Biophysical Society’s Emily M. Grey Award. The School was generally regarded as one of the best of its kind in Europe and, throughout the years, has been attended by more than one thousand Ph.D. students and postdocs interested in becoming acquainted with the state-of-the-art methods and approaches in biophysics. The lecturers have always been of the highest quality and have included the world’s top scientists in their respective disciplines.
Also, I am cordially inviting you to learn about the School at http://www.irb.hr/crosb2012, and forward this announcement to students and young scientists at UMCS who may decide to register and also to apply for Awards and Grants offered by the Greta Pifat-Mrzljak Fund and by our sponsor, EBSA.
Sincerely,
Tom Vuletic,
Co-chair, 11th Greta Pifat-Mrzljak International School of Biophysics
